God is gathering His armies throughout the earth. He is imparting those in the body with the spirit of Gideon to go forth and raise up mighty armies that will tear down the enemy’s strongholds, free people from bondage and release the glory of the Lord.
Who was Gideon?
Gideon was a judge and a deliverer. The word Gideon is from the root Hebrew word Ghid-ohn which means warrior. Gideon was from the weakest clan in Manasseh and considered himself to be the weakest in his family. But Gideon had a great call on his life – to deliver an entire nation out of the hands of an enemy that was greater in size and more powerful than them.
Gideon's 300
Gideon's army was initially thirty-two thousand, but God told Gideon that the army was too big. All who were fearful and afraid were invited to leave and twenty-two thousand people left! But the army was still too big. Eventually God chose only 300 men to defeat the enemy. And what a great victory it was!

They are a remnant of people who are humble - a ready and willing people who don’t care about titles, prestige, pomp and splendor who are willing to “put their shoulders to the work” and to go into the trenches. Gideon's Army consists of men and women who are unafraid, who are united and non competitive and who want to get the work of the ministry done.
